Kind of feeling like all I ever want to talk about ever again is how weird/adorable/hysterical/dumb (in the best possible way)/great Erin Hannon is.

(But no: could also be persuaded to converse about Amber rap-trolling an f(x) song again, or your favorite stupid time-wastey flash games! Mine are: Now Boarding, Sushi-Go-Round, and Mansion Impossible.)

Man guys I was trying to redo my profile today and think of any kind of blurb involving like, actual words to put in there, and came up with nada. Which is semi-stressless because who even has stuff in their profile anymore, THAT IS UNTRENDY ANYWAY, but sometimes I miss the times when profiles were ~very serious matters~ of finding a clever way to express yourself in some words, but I think I also don't miss spending three hours on things like this, I guess (I love trawling through my 15-year-old self's photobucket, btw, apparently another feature of my profile was a SONG/MOVIE/SHOW/SHIP OF THE MOMENT FEATURE, which must not have lasted long because I appear to have only picked one of each.)

I've had a really weird couple of days-- yesterday there was another mountain wildfire here, except this one was like, in the part of the mountains that I live by and there was an evacuation order so I spent like 15 minutes doing the GRAB THINGS THAT HAVE MEANING TO YOU which was so weird but then the fire travelled up north and got contained pretty quickly so. It was fine! But it kind of shook me, I was... off most of yesterday. Although what's really been fascinating to me, both for this fire and for the previous one, is how twitter functions as a focal point for information. It's weirddddd, to be honest ever since I stopped using facebook the internet/real life barrier really solidified, because I basically don't use the internet to talk to my regular friends at all except occasionally through my school email, so I don't really think of twitter as a ~thing~ regular people use, but it IS, and it's kind of incredible to see how people gather and disseminate information via twitter in that kind of situation. It's so weirdly efficient. And for once hashtags don't seem like an incredibly pointless exercise in pointlessness.

UMMMMMM and then today I went shopping with friends and then cooked things. This was one of the most incredible things I have tasted. These were good too but not as good as I was expecting. As blasphemous as this is the chocolate/peanut butter combination is starting to wear on me. Reese's peanut butter cups used to be HEAVEN, now they are like, fine. Never quite as good as I expect them to be!! Even the delish Whole Foods bulk copycat is borderline boring now. I don't understaaaaaand, candy is supposed to be delicious, why am I acting like an old person.

Also this happened, after like THREE YEARS OF STRENUOUS WAITING BETWEEN THE TEASER AND THE ACTUAL MUSIC VIDEO:

UGH SOMETIMES I HAVE TO ASK MYSELF WHY I EVEN LIKE THESE THINGS, because what are SM Entertainment videos ever except a very vague set, some costumes, and a couple of dance scenes. BUT THEN THEY COME OUT AND I CAN NEVER GET ENOUGH. Juuuuust like Run Devil Run! (On that note though man I will never understand the people who like kpop in general, though, I mean general opinion says that Run Devil Run is terrible and the Wonder Girls' 2 Different Tears is a hot mess and 2PM's Heartbeat is the worst or something, AND THOSE SONGS ARE ALL MY FAVORITES!!! But these are people who can't mentally handle the idea of their favorite dudes having a girlfriend so I guess I should not be surprised by their lack of taste. HEARTBEAT IS A RIDICULOUS MELODRAMATIC MASTERPIECE, 2DT is super catchy and the MV would be the actual greatest if there were less JYP in it, and what can you even say about Run Devil Run, except that it manages to rise above awkward choreography and a boring music video to still be the greatest. Also they kept wearing performace outfits that looked like something you'd find in one of the 80s episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation, and everyone hated them but that made me love them, except now I can't remember if my favorites were these or these or some other, mysterious, third set out outfits.)

The gift certificate to the spa my baby sister got me for my last birthday was about to expire -- because uh, my next birthday is this weekend -- so I went and got a facial today and omg you guys, it was a MAGICAL EXPERIENCE. I want to live in the spa. I never thought I would like that kind of thing! But omg *____*

By the way on the offchance anyone was curious, the generally accepted popularity ranking of the girls in the last post is basically 7, 9 (I actually think 9 has more members in her fancafe, which I think it the easiest thing to go by because, you know, NUMBERS, but 7 is more known by the general public/basically considered the beauty standard of South Korea, so), 22, 0, 21, 11, 12, 24, 32. Obviously personality and talent (to some degree) figure into that whereas that poll was strictly looks, but I did think it was interesting how soundly Sooyoung won that when she is not even close to the favorite in her own demographic pool.

This weekend I got tongue-raped by some dude at Vivian's cabin party? I mean I could tell he was into me (everyone could tell, Vivian asked me if I was okay with being hit on and offered to make him stop and she was REALLY DRUNK, so the fact that she noticed is monumental, but like a fool I said no because he seemed pretty harmless and fly-like) but I really did not expect the night to end with him CLIMBING DOWN ONTO MY BUNK BED AND JAMMING HIS TONGUE DOWN MY THROAT WITH NO WARNING. Why would he think that was okay!?!!!?!? Why would anyone think that was okay? HE LEGITIMATELY DIDN'T SEEM DRUNK ENOUGH TO BE THAT STUPID. I was definitely, definitely not drunk enough for it not to be life-scarring, oh god I keep having these moments where I'll be like, at Starbucks or in the library and I will just THINK ABOUT IT and cringe. Ew ew ew ew.

I bought the most magnificent notebook at the school bookstore, it looks like this and it is everything I would ever want in a notebook, except that it's... $4.50. WHAT IS THAT, even. I was thinking I'd google and find it cheaply in bulk and live happily ever after but uh. NOT SO MUCH. I think I was posting this in hope that one of you is a secret office supply geek and knew a secret that I do not, but I also doubt anyone can help me. Luckily I often enjoy fruitless whining almost as much as fruitful whining.

Anyway maybe my weird ladyboner for office supplies is a more natural segue than I would've thought into... this. This which is actually the nerdiest thing I have ever posted on livejournal. Hands down. I think most of you can recognize how monumental a thing that is, I..... am pretty dweeby! This... is pretty dweeby.

So uh, it's been awhile, has it not? Oh lj, it is not you (although you have been conspicuously quiet as of late!), IT IS ME. You see, in April I was playing a game with myself that involved mapping out my primary fannish areas of interest during the last yearish, and I ended up with this monstrosity:


...and realized that sometime over the year it became impossible to converse with me about things that are not a) space or b) korean celebrities. WHICH IS SURELY ENJOYABLE FOR ALL OF YOU, so I retreated to the batcave. BUT I DON'T KNOW, maybe the first step is admitting I have a problem! Maybe putting it UP IN PUBLIC that I had two Enterprise phases IN ONE YEAR (oh god seriously who does that) is the first step to going back to being a normal lj citizen who talks about NBC comedies and JJ Abrams shows. Maybe at some point this summer I will even watch something new! WE WILL SEE, I hate to say it but it proooooobably depends on whether or not a ZILLION DELIGHTFUL KOREAN MUSIC VIDEOS GET RELEASED AT ONCE, like they have been. God I wish I knew how I became this monster. BUT I DO MISS YOU GUYS AND THE PROCESS OF TALKING TO YOU ABOUT STUFF, and I've gotten a couple of nudges which makes me feel weird and guilty and loved, so I am going to attempt to make conversation about things besides We Got Married and Korean baywatch.

( first on the agenda is bones, which, BY THE WAY, is the only tv show I am caught up on, and yet I was still not even aware that this was the season finale until I idly wandered over to you-know-where two days ago to watch it and saw a 'Complete Season 5' post. )

THE OTHER THING WAS THAT THIS HAS NOW COME INTO MY POSSESSION:



BECAUSE YEAH, MY GRANDFATHER IN FACT DID HAVE ONE LINE ON A SEASON 5 EPISODE OF FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS. God knows why they gave him the whole script, but they did, and now it is mine.
