2. There was a pairs skater named Elena, idremember her last name but her partner was an Anton? A COUPLE OF ROUNDS OF OLYMPICS AGO. She was cool! I LIKED HER FACE.
3. Relatedly I used to figure skate with a girl named Elena, she was the only fellow lefty I trained with other than Vivian! She was really nice, much nicer than her bratty friend Jordan.

5. When I was a kid (13ish) I was like, super crazy obsessed with the Yule Ball/specifically the line afterwards that implied Ron had ripped apart his Viktor Krum action figure (I could recite that paragraph from memory). It is not nearly as centrifugal to my enjoyment of of Harry Potter now that I don't have to spend as much as my life ~convincing~ my middle school friends that Ron/Hermione was endgame, but it feels wrong to ignore it.
4. I really love the scene in OotP right after they meet Grawp/Ron's big game, idk, just... the trio relaxing by the lake, Ron being twerpy, and Harry and Hermione breaking stuff to him.
3. The scene where Harry talks to Luna after Sirius dies? Which makes me sound like a crazy Harry/Luna person, which I'm not even, I just found that moment really poignant.
2. Honestly basically the entire last... quarter? of Prisoner of Azkaban, but my faaaaavorite is the stuff in the shrieking shack (DRAMATIC TWISTS AND REVEALS I love that shit idek) and my even more favorite is:

I kind of feel like rereading HP again but like, that might be too much for me. I need time to recuperate. Every time I re-read Deathly Hallows, I am always like "oh no how are they going to find the Horcruxes" and it's so bleak and then not and I am just so amazed by them, ugh I love them so much brave Gryffindors.
huh this is actually hard. YESSSS to Phantom Planet though. I remember everyone (including me) going crazy over that version when it first came out. Once I saw this promo for Voyager (and when I say "once" I literally mean one time, I watched a shitload of Voyager reruns in my youth and this was only used once) that was like "7 reasons 7 young men watch Star Trek: Voyager" and it went 1. BUT LIKE I WOULD PREVENT MYSELF FROM TALKING ABOUT VOYAGER THINGS
5. I dug up this (http://clairelight.typepad.com/seelight/2009/08/geek-post-why-voyager-rocked.html) a couple of weeks ago and I really love it, it's basically about how even though it's lame Voyager is actually really innovative as a TV show because (among other well-reasoned reasons) not only does it place women in positions of power, it shows strong-willed, interesting men willingly taking a backseat to them both professionally and personally.
4. The use of tropes is gratuitous and also incredible. The episodes that should be the worst (NAZIS IN SPACE) are often their best.
3. I SERIOUSLY FEEL BAD FOR EVERYONE WHO DOESN'T HAVE BLOOD FEVER IN THEIR LIVES, like, seriously. PON FARR: HE HAS TO REJECT HER BECAUSE HE LOVES HER!
2. P/T A K A MY FIRST OTP A K A THE BEST SHIP!!! They are like, beautiful in all kinds of ways but most specifically I love that they are like these two completely different personalities that work really hard to make things work because they love each other. Also I love that we get to see all three phases: flirty, dating, and MARRIEDS.
1. THE CHARACTERS!! Specifically I love B'Elanna Torres more than like, anything in the world (and omg HARRY KIM YOU DARLING LITTLE BOY), but I think that the brainblock I have with the other Trek series is the fact that I never love everyone on the crew? And I do on Voyager. EVEN NEELIX, COME AT ME INTERNET. And I love how much they love each other, omg all their stupid bonding scenes are my favorite :3
