HELLO FRIENDS

Last night [livejournal.com profile] dudski resurrected the top fives meme, and it reminded me that as many times as that has gone around I haven't done it since like, 2007? Maybe 2008? So eons, in internet time. (Which means you can even feel free to default to asking me to the most boring, basic top five questions if necessary!) BUT UM YES: please ask me top five-type questions!!

I LIKE THESE QUESTIONS :3

TOP FIVE NAIL POLISH COLOURS
Image

~beautiful photography~

But anyway from left (5) to right (1), that is um, Orly Lemonade, OPI's Ali's Big Break, Butter London All Hail McQueen, Chanel Khaki Vert (thank god I love it so much because... yeah, that was kind of expensive), aaaaaaand Eyeko Rain Polish. (If I still had a bottle of OPI's Catch Me In Your Net it would be on there but ugh it's discontinued and like $20 on Ebay. Apparently there's a Zoya knockoff though? I'll probably get it in September when my self-imposed ban on buying nail polish is over.)

TOP FIVE KPOP VIDEOS

5.

4.

The singing shots intercut through this are like, RIDICULOUS, but it kind of adds to the fun in a weird way. Anyway I love this because I LOVE GO ARA'S FACE and also dumb buddy cop dramas, sooooo.

3.

2.

I CAN'T WATCH THIS WITHOUT THINKING ABOUT PUSHING DAISIES

1.

TOP FIVE SNACK FOODS
5. Vitamin Water ~Popsicles~
4. Pirate's Booty
3. GUSHERS!!!!! I never get them though for some reason (probably because I have a horrifying tendency to just eat them all at once)
2. Chips & Salsa
1. I know this is weird but lately I'm really into peaches in milk?

It's like when you put peaches in your cereal

Only you remove the middleman and leave the two best parts

How do you like OPI? Is it worth the price? It's like $8 here and I'm happy enough with Sally Hansen, which is only about $2.50-$3.50 and lasts a while, way longer than Revlon which is kind of expensive and crap. That Chanel colour is hnnnnng but so pricey. I'm jealous. :C

#2 is so adorable! :D I would watch a full-length movie version of #4, but only if it was still a musical. #1 is like one of those Disney collaborations where they make all the ex-Mousekeeters do promo work, and fans eat it up because everyone involved is attractive and the song is catchy. That's not a slam.

GUSHERS OMG. Teal ones? Say yes to teal.

My general opinion is that nail polish is like haircuts: the cheap stuff is generally pretty obviously cheaper, but once you hit the $6 threshold (...$35 with hair) the quality can only marginally increase (ACTUALLY THE CHANEL IS SO NICE THOUGH, one coat and it's perfect and it lasts forever). Anyway I like OPI but I don't think it's ~the only good brand~ or anything. Orly and China Glaze are pretty much as good and a little bit cheaper besides. Sally Hansen polishes are a little hit and miss for me: like 75% of them are nice formula-wise but I've gotten some weird ones too. I mostly just buy polishes for the colors though, if I covet it enough I will totally drop $8 on it :/

There's a longer version of it (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIjZtzBoBbM)! And also a terribly embarrassing (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLBIy6t-X-A) dance version looool. And lol that is the perfect description of #1. Mostly I like it because SM people are my favorite people and SM mvs are generally the boringest.

OF COURSE but basically I like all kinds of gushers :9

I'll check around for Orly (lol O RLY) and China Glaze then! N.Y.C. used to be my go-to brand, but now all I can find is that quick-dry stuff that is wretched. WHY DOES QUICK-DRY EXIST. And what other reason is there to buy polish if not for colour? :D:

It's like Infernal Affairs crossed with Point Break crossed with something else. Something marvelous. The dance version is amaaaaazing but I have a secret passion for white suits so. THERE IS A DUDE WITH SUPERVILLAIN FACIAL HAIR is it wrong that my first thought was, "Oh, he must be the Kevin of this oversized Backstreet Boys group"? :D:

What about Dunkaroos? :D?

I loved NYC because IT'S SO CHEAP and the colors are pretty but now I can't go back to it :| AND LOL, TRUE.

THE DANCE VERSION IS LIKE AWKWARD SEX LITERALLY CONDENSED INTO DANCE FORM, impressed with that choreographer tbqh. But yes ugh it's like there's so much earnestness going into the whole thing that they don't even realize how lame the whole thing is, which multiples my enjoyment by four or five for some reason :3

No Dunkaroos? D: What about Those gummies that were shaped and flavoured like different kinds of pop? I think they were called Soda Pops or something. Cherry cola gummies. :999

I've never had any gummies actually! I was a bb vegetarian, and gummies have gelatin :/

(Although it took me a really long time to figure out Skittles/Starburst had gelatin, and once I did MY HEART WAS BROKEN.)
