spoilers under this cut forrrrrr how i met your mother, gossip girl, and bones. OH, MONDAYS. I will kind of miss you when Bones moves and you go back to being normal, more sane days of the week.

YOU KNOW THAT THING WHERE YOU THINK YOU MIGHT BE READING TOO FAR INTO THINGS BUT THEN YOU AREN'T AND BARNEY LOVES ROBIN AND IT'S GREAT and basically makes up for the fact that Dan and Serena broke up (WHATEVER, I HAVE FAITH IN THEIR REUNION, like walking down streets with Nate and Vanessa could in any way make up for the lack of this), Georgina getting owned in a pretty boring way, whatever the hell was going on with Chuck and Blair (seriously, WHAT?), the fact that ZACK KILLED SOMEONE AND IS SPENDING THE REST OF HIS LIFE (?) IN AN INSANE ASYLUM.

Seely Booth! Likes to take baths while drinking beer out of weird beer hats and reading graphic novels and playing reaaaaaally loud rock music and then there's his partner, who likes to break into his bathroom to yell at him for not breaking protocol in his methods for telling her he wasn't actually dead and then finish her reaming by complimenting him on his lack of embarrassment about the fact that she just saw his peen. HOW ARE THESE TWO REAL??

(Did I miss exposition, was Booth wearing a bulletproof vest or something? He is not acting like a dude who just got shot. Seriously, where's the damn scar?)

I KNOW, ZACH? ZACARONI? EATING PEOPLE? TOO FAR WRITERS, TOO FAR. PUT DOWN YOUR PENCILS AND YOUR CRACK BECAUSE YOU'VE MOVED TO THE BAD KIND.

The whole episode was off, and sloppy, and the suspense was just not even there and UGH I HATED IT ALL. Except the small Hodgins/Angela and Booth/Bren they gave us.

But Dan and Serena were woeful, and Chuck and Blair were just weird. It was good and then (last night) things got weird.

Ugh, the more I think about Bones the ANGRIER I GET. The way they handled the shooting was ACTUALLY RIDICULOUS? I honestly don't understand how they would've pried Brennan away long enough to convince anyone that he was dead and then he pops up well enough to BEAT PEOPLE UP??????? And I cannot cannot cannot buy the Zack thing. Like, they didn't even bother to foreshadow, and Zack has always had REGARD FOR LIFE. Ugh. Ugh ugh ugh. I wish I could displace that wonderful, wonderful bath scene and put it in another episode.

It's weird, I feel like Mondays haven't really let me down once post-strike (well, except for last week's HIMYM), and in finale week they kind of all crashed and burned? HIMYM to a lesser extent, because even though it was a fairly weak episode it had more than one delightful thing. I mean, I seriously have NO IDEA what they were going for in Gossip Girl?? Rufus and Lily chose... what??? Nate and Vanessa was for what? God knows what they thought they were doing with Chuck and Blair.

YES I KNOW. I expected Booth to be in hospital for the majority of this episode and then it was like he was totally fine. At his funeral I was like, I recognise that creepster in the background! And then it was flashing to Booth and Suz was laughing and me and yet, THE WHOLE THING WAS SO RIDICULOUS.

There was no foreshadowing with Zach, he cares about his friends. When he was in hospital (with that ridiculous PCA - who gives a PCA to someone who can't use his hands? Not to mention my other issues with the fact that HODGINS was pressing it, and that there was NO LOCK OUT TIME and Hodgins pretty much narc'd Zach!) I never even considered Zach, the whole episode I was like, not Cam! Not Sweets! Not Hodgins! ...it's Zach? SERIOUSLY?

And YES. Mondays have been totally wonderful right up until now, so it was so disappointing to have them all have horrible finales together. We watched HIMYM first because we though it'd be the least intense (last week we watched Bones first and couldn't sit down for half an hour) but this week, I was just like, man I wish I had HIMYM to cheer me up now! And Gossip Girl was just so rushed and just .. UGH.
