I feel like we have talked in the past about how I feel this deep, ~*spiritual*~ connection to Bryan Fuller because we both come from the same place: Star Trek: Voyager. But it's also possible I'm remembering wrong, because I know the post where I analyzed the Voyager episodes he wrote and how they foreshadowed his future work as a writer/showrunner (you don't know my life) only ever existed in my head.
Anyway I was kind of LEGIT SAD when I realized Bryan Fuller had a twitter but wasn't following Jeri Ryan?? Which was depressing, considering his twitter is basically just about how much he likes the various actresses in his shows (lol if you were looking for a reason about why I enjoy it so deeply...). And then I looked a couple of days later and he was following her but not vice versa and it was like, WHAT IS THIS TRAGEDY THIS IS HORRIBLE

AHHHHHH WHAT IS THIS IT'S TOO BEAUTIFUL
(for the record, as previously established, Jeri Ryan's twitter is also COMPLETELY PRECIOUS but not in the same way: like sometimes I think about unfollowing her because all she does is tweet "cool links" she's found. And while I find it SO CUTE that she is like, over the top into that shit, sometimes I don't care about weird technological innovations and cute baby animals!! In fact I don't care a lot of the time. I don't know why I find it so adorbs that she does, I... think I just find everyone secretly adorbs or something, IT'S A DISEASE.)
Anyway it's also the fact that EVERY DAY he uploads a picture of the sunset all "PRETTY RIGHT NOW" (caps not mine for once), that he pretty much loves Jayma Mays as much as me (this was the best one though), is clearly still ~bffs~ with his old casts, is a giant nerd, and loves Harry Potter as much as we do. CAN'T FIGURE OUT IF I WANT TO BE HIM OR JUST BE HIS BEST FRIEND FOREVER, but ughhhhh he is the legit greatest person, here's hoping he gets another show soon.
(AND HERE'S HOPING IT'S STAR TREK: BRIGHT COLORS, starring Jayma Mays as an adorable alien, Jeri Ryan as one of 7 or 9's Norwegian ancestresses, and either KChenoweth or Tracie Thoms as the captain, I can't decide.)
EYEHEARTING ASIDE THOUGH, isn't celebrity twitter culture weirdly interesting? It gives us all access into these lives in a way we have never had before, and it's interesting how many people you end up liking more, but how many people you end up liking less. The ones who are exactly like you would have pictured them (SEAN MAHER: super sweet but boring as hell) and then the ones that surprise you, idk. And then the ones who just make asses out of themselves all the time, which is always fun.
Also I've kind of been using tumblr again (I know, I hate myself, etc) and I'M SICK OF LEADING A DOUBLE LIFE, so yeah this is me. I had this elaborate fantasy about how before I mentioned this to my lj friends I would have a ~cool~ tumblr, not in the lame-o tumblr popularity sense but in that it would be like THIS GIRL'S TUMBLR, which I love so deeply it probably borders on creepy. I was going to think of a new username and take pictures of stuff but then I remembered that I am just... deeply uncool. Anyway I am lame and my usage is pretty sporadic soooo no pressure or anything, I'm here more anyway. But if you do want to be tumblr friends...... yeah. WHY IS THIS SO AWKWARD, GOD, I hate tumblr.
OOOH WHILE WE'RE AT IT THOUGH IS THERE ANYONE I'M NOT FRIENDS WITH ON LAST.FM??? Because if not friend me, that is the actual best place. Even though mine is embarrassing, whatever, I'M EMBARRASSING EVERYWHERE, let's face facts.
Also is there any Troy/Annie fic besides this and this? Because delicious said "not really". But enquiring minds would like to know for sure :(

Sometimes I get that feeling too, that at least the majority of people who appreciate Josh Charles come from Sports Night. I think, and I've discussed this with a couple of people, that Josh Charles really gets lost in the shuffle (even more than Christine Baranski does). Everyone talks about the women and Cary -- and they should be talking about them, because they deserve all of the accolades thrown their way. But man oh man, Josh Charles does not get nearly enough credit for how fantastic he is. Granted, he doesn't always get the meatiest scenes in that sense, but when he does, he knocks it out of the park.

I guess that's what you get for being quiet-good, especially since yeah, he is hardly the show's focal point. It's also hilar to me how only people who have seen Sports Night are like, attracted to him, because sadly I think that's a big part of why you never hear about him but you aaaaaaaaaalways hear about Cary (I mean, I hear more about freakin' Cary than I hear about KALINDA).

Those are the best ones!!! It's just so... normal. And endearingly lame. More than any stupid picture of a star grocery shopping in the "STARS THEY'RE JUST LIKE US" section of a tabloid, that just goes to show that stars are just like us.
