THIS IS SO WEIRD, because apparently Lindsay Lohan is actually as obsessed with leggings as the Fug Girls have jokingly accused her of being?

The Mindy bookends of that comment are this and this. I have this tragic overinvestment in the Kaling-Lohan twitter relationship, which is directly corellated to my more than tragic overinvestment in Lohan herself (which stems from a childhood love of the Parent Trap, you do not even want to know how many times I watched that VHS tape). It started as this giant wave of "OH GOD LINDSAY WHAT ARE YOU DOING" when she was just twittering away at Mindy, desperately trying to be her friend, and it seemed like Mindy had absolutely no interest in following her. But then she did, and I was free of embarrassment squick, but then it was awkward because Mindy had an ESTABLISHED TWITTER FRIENDSHIP with Sam Ronson and... well. And now I don't know! Maybe they will go buy leggings together and will become bffs! I can see Mindy Kaling being the kind of person to love Lindsay despite all her dumbshit life choices and trainwrecky passive-aggressive twitter updates, and attempt lure her away from the party scene with frozen yogurt and shoes. But god, not even the love of Tina Fey could save Lindsay from herself, SHE WOULD HAVE HER WORK CUT OUT FOR HER. Also I am secretly terrified Lindsay is clingy and annoying and impossible to hang out with/not cool enough for Mindy Kaling. But then, god, who is cool enough for Mindy Kaling?

So I told myself I wasn't allowed to use the internet this evening until I was done with this particular ~important~ (and unfortunately lengthy) email to my dean, which is clearly going well! I have definitely not been searching out new blogs for google reader, reading horrific AU fanfiction (YOU GUYS: when I start in on the AUs I am scraping the bottom of the barrel, I have just never been an elaborate AU kind of girl), or trying to figure out how I want to use the CSF vouchers secondstar so kindly gave me (I mean, obviously I am going to all the ones that are actual Shakespeare, BUT THEN DO I WANT TO SEE THE OTHERS, or would I rather just take more people? DILEMMA). I would never do those things, you guys. I am not that person.
