OKAY AS SILLY AS THE ~*DRIVING*~ THING IS I REALLY LOVE THIS CHOREOGRAPHY, specifically because of the way they are arranged for their singing parts... so weirdly creative! LIKE THE BEGINNING, with Taeyeon coming out across all of them, and then Jessica coming out and them becoming a little curtain so Tiffany can have a dramatic reveal!! And the part with the spinning, I liked that too. (I liked a lot of it, who are we even kidding here.)

ALSO HYOYEON GOT TO BE IN THE FRONT OF THE CHOREO ONCE, YESSSSSSSS dreams do come true

kind of but not really.

THE WAY THE SINGING PARTS GOT ARRANGED IS SO INTERESTING TOO, having the five main singers do the entirety of the verses, giving everyone a little line during the chorus, and then at the end, giving the bridge to the two dancers who can kind of actually sing and giving Sunny/Jessica some time too since they took the tiny part during the first and second verses respectively. It would be so balanced if Taeyeon and Tiffany weren't there at the end of the bridge, IS TIFFANY THE SECOND MAIN SINGER NOW?! But no seriously the way these groups work around the members with less singing ability is so generally interesting to me and this is a completely new arrangement. IF I HAD A GIF OF A VULCAN SAYING FASCINATING I WOULD TOTALLY USE IT RIGHT NOW.

anyway also:

- Sooyoung at :38ish has been out for days now, it should be old news but IT IS SO NOT
- Tiffany from :51 to :58 CRACKS ME UP, I don't know, the way she dances is so derpy and serious and adorable and bad BUT SHE'S JUST TRYING SO HARD
- I like the black outfits better, AND THE HAIR IN THEM!!! Esp Sunny, Jessica, and Yuri.
- lol at the second chorus ending up AN ODE TO JESSICA JUNG, SHE WAS IN FRONT THE WHOLE TIME
- THESE SETS ARE SO LAME THOUGH, I almost get excited during the shadow parts because you can't see them.

JAPANESE RELEASES ARE SO WEIRD AND STRESSFUL, IT'S LIKE THEY HAVE TO TEASE YOU A LITTLE BIT MORE EVERY COUPLE OF DAYS INSTEAD OF JUST RELEASING IT

I just can't get over how manly Taeyeon's hair looks in the ENTIRE THING, just when I'm done loling at her hair in the yellow outfit she shows up in the black one and I just CAN'T.

Also I love Jessica's yellow outfit hair :( AND I LOVE THE CHOREOGRAPHY AT LIKE 1:10, SO COOL.

WAIT IS THERE AN ACTUAL PV OUT OR IS IT JUST THE DANCE VERSION?? I think it's the latter since my YT search came up with nothing. I LOVE IT, they move so fluidly!! SO BENDY. I REALLY DO NOT LIKE TIFFANY'S HAIR in the yellow outfits. It would be okay except CORNROWS, REALLY?!! I think you said Sooyoung looks so sassy and that is what I think of now when I see her, SO SASSY I LOVE IT.

YEAH, just the dance version. That's kind of what I mean by Japan being weird with the staggering! When something gets released in Korea, it's like: first there is a teaser, then there is a song, and then there is a MV. But this has been like-- first there was LQ audio, then there was HQ audio, then there was a bad 30 second preview, then there was a better quality 30 second preview, then there was a 90 second preview, and now we have a dance version! LIKE. IT'S TORTURE. But yeah I kind of agree, it looks silly. BUT YES SASSY, SASSY AND GOOD. She also looks kind of awesomely robotic during her part in the bridge, LOVE IT.

HIGH CUT BASICALLY JUST GIVES ME GIFTS, IT'S GREAT, I LOVE THEM.
