THAT WAS LEGITIMATELY THE AWKWARDEST HOUR OF TELEVISION I HAVE SAT THROUGH IN AN HOUR. Ugh undercover as a married couple is legitimately my favorite thing on this eaaaaaarth, and two weeks ago this would have been THE GREATEST EPISODE EVER, but after last week it was almost... uncomfortable? Idk it was like they were writing them exactly as they've always written them, which was weird and... I DON'T KNOW. I don't knowwwwwwww. I feel really resentful about not being able to enjoy undercover marrieds! Or most of the Booth/Brennan stuff that did not involve ridiculous awkward dancing. Ohmygodddddddd though I feel like I spent an entire week going WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT!!! and then it didn't change. But you know how it goes, it is Bones, everything that is wrong will be right again soon.

BUT I STILL WISH I COULD GET ALL THE TIME I SPENT WATCHING THOSE ANGELA/WENDELL/HODGINS SCENES BACK

WHATEVER, THE CHICKEN VIDEOS ARE MY ACTUAL FAVORITE THING, AND SHE IS UNAPOLOGETICALLY RIDICULOUSLY HOT AND RIDICULOUSLY DORKY IN ALL OF THEM. Hers was totally the best one, although Yoona's was a close second. And Taeyeon's and Sunny's were really good too. And I think Sooyoung's? IDK THIS REQUIRES DELIBERATION, obviously.

yeah "infantilized" is definitely not the right word exactly but they're definitely...made out to be about on the same level as like preteen girls? with the whole ~first love story~/~i get shy when i look at you~ deal. so it's just so weird/awkward that those promo shoots are so sexualized because the actual video comes across as...really not. like, gee itself is not a cutesy that really offends me the way oh! kind of does, but in combination with that photoshoot it gets like 10x grosser.

i feel like if this week hadn't also had the horrific angela/wendell/hodgins awkwardness, i wouldn't be this ambivalent, but uh. yeah. THAT HAPPENED, AND I WAS REALLY NOT OKAY WITH IT, and it gave me a whole lot of :/ feelings that are proving more difficult to overcome than i would have thought, I DON'T EVEN THINK I SHIP ANGELA/HODGINS ANYMORE BECAUSE I JUST WANT IT ALL TO GO AWAY AND NEVER COME BACK.
