Okay wait, does your love for the Bakula have something to do with Star Trek? Because I vaguely remember seeing commercials with him in it or something? IDK, me and my brosef used to be addicted to Quantum Leap. IT WAS SO SO SO GOOD. So good.

I DONT KNOW IF IT WAS IN THE FIRST FIVE MINUTES, MAYBE???? It was definitely early on. I think it had to be after the song though because it was right after the gang found out that Booth was taken.

And I totally agree about sequels. The first gravedigger episode is basically one of my favorite episodes of any show EVER (which says a lot. SERIOUSLY) and it's such a perfect, crystalline 40 minute NUGGET OF GOLD, to think that they were rehashing it made me a bit :/ BUT THEY TOTALLY DELIVERED. And it didn't feel gimmicky (at least it didn't feel that gimmicky) and the Booth storyline was SO UNEXPECTEDLY AWESOME.

Oh no to being sick! Hope you feel better soon, dude!

Well... kiiiiind of? His Star Trek character was horrible, though, my sister and I used to call him the cockroach and we didn't even watch most of that particular spinoff. MY LOVE FOR HIM CAME LATER.

UGH, CLEARLY A REWATCH IS IN ORDER.

Before tonight I was afraid it was going to be another Pusher/Kitsunegari-- like, Pusher! It's so good! It stands alone! And Kitsunegari is like... fine, I guess, whatever, but it UNDERMINES the beauty of Pusher and... just... blerg. Anyway I was terrified that this would do the same "wheeeee that episode was so good so CLEARLY WE SHOULD USE IT AGAIN" thing but no, it did really well. And I agree, the Booth storyline was such a lovely little surprise.

Thank you!

Ugh, I agree RE: Pusher/Kitsunegari. My distate for the latter is truly profound. Mainly because THERE WAS JUST NO NEED FOR THEM TO DO IT. Like, the show was still in it's prime, it was producing one amazing episode after another, there was just...no need. I mean, technically there was no need for Bones to do it either, but Bones and Bones and I'm totally unsurprised that they chose to dig that up again (no pun intended). But really though, it boggles me how they're able to make this stuff WORK. I'm sure we've had this conversation 2384902 times, BUT ON PAPER THIS SHOW SHOULD BE PURE CRAP. But put it on screen with these actors and suddenly it's ~*~MAGIC*~*. And it's also awesome in the sense that watching it is like watching a kid grow or something-- the writers are clearly getting better and the characters are evolving as the quality is getting better and better and it all just makes for this giant crecendo of AWESOME. AUGH.
