Hello dead weekend livejournal! I have kind of invented a meme. Well, "invented" is probably a strong word, I'd be super surprised if something like this has never ever been done before. But it's a kind of um, experiment to see how much information we accidentally pick up from reading our friendslist, but that makes it sound lame, and I THINK IT WILL BE LULZY TOO.

ANYWAY: what I want you to do is name a show I don't watch (if you want me to list the things I do like I will, but I think most of you have a decent idea of what I'm into and if you don't it's pretty well outlined in my interests -- OH, except for Psych, that's... recent and I've now seen enough that it would be cheating) and I will try to describe it to you (looking things up is obviously cheating, it's a test to see what random things have been picked up).

I'm actually equally (almost more?) enthused about the idea of feeding people shows though, so if you're bored too you should totally play on your own.

LOL isn't it amazing what we pick up from our flist? Jack is indeed immortal, and he's sort of with Ianto but has lots of sexual tension with Gwen, who fandom does indeed hate unreasonably. Everything else is true too.

Torchwood: Outside the government, beyond the police. Tracking down alien life on Earth and arming the human race against the future. The 21st century is when everything changes, and you've gotta be ready.

It's not really time travel at Torchwood, although they have done that lol. They protect Earth, specifically Cardiff, from aliens. And usually do a crap job at it :P

It is kind of weird and incredible to see what details we know.

HAHAHA CARDIFF! I didn't know that! The town I lived in when I lived in California was named after that place.
