Okay am I crazy or is there a moment after the reverent millisecond they take to break apart where he actually kind of half-kisses her neck/cheek or is it just an odd angle? THIS IS WHAT I'M SAYING. MOTELS.

I don't know exactly when it happened, but at some point this season, this show turned from a show I liked pretty well and watched every week into THIS MAGIC.

THAT IS EXACTLY HOW I FEEL! It was an enjoyable little something I could get a couple of weeks behind on without any kind of stress, and in then in these last few episodes it's turned itself around into something magnificent. I honestly thought it was going to be stagnant for awhile longer-- two parts Sarah, Casey, Chuck on the CIA mission of the week, two parts Buy Morons, one part sexual tension, one part Casey-related humor, one part Bartowskis at home, with the occasional wrench in the overall plan. And that would have been okay! But they've pulled the rug out from under their little formula three or four times in the last couple of weeks and MAN, HOW DID IT EVEN GET THIS GOOD.

I'm having a difficult time describing my thoughts about tonight's episode since all matters of coherency went flying out the window as soon as I watched the promo. The wait for next week is going to be absolutely killer. I CANNOT EVEN HANDLE THIS. In the past few episodes, they've managed to completely take me by surprise. Never did I think they would go this route so soon, but they did and I'm thrilled and all flail-y. If the show gets canceled now, I don't even know what I will do.

THIS SHOW. I'm in awe in how they've turned Chuck into a show I watch and enjoy thoroughly to a show that I will be gutted about if they can it. It is pure delight, I tell you.

NO I KNOW-- and actually it was weird because right up until the end I was like "hmm, this was good but a step down from where it's been in the last few weeks" and then the last five minutes happened and I WAS DONE WITH LOGICAL THOUGHT. I really think they could've stretched all the twists and turns from the last few weeks out into at leastttttt an entire season. BUT DAMN, I'm glad they chose to do it this way.

It's really tragic that it's on the bubble now that it's THIS GOOD. It's weird, but I really don't know what I'll do if I don't get to have it next year. Which is not a feeling I associate with Chuck?
