Apparently Ron D. Moore and David Eick kind of just write as they go - they know how they want to end it but the in-between stuff can get rusty. Yeahhhhhhh, I figured. It seemed really tight and well-focused and we-know-exactly-where-we're-going-with-all-of-this in the beginning, but the further you get along the more certain plotlines kind of... flounder along? But it seems like now with the end in sight it's all working for them again. YAY.
