That is exactly why I sign up for these things, too! I'm going to get my xf_santa fic finished come hell or high water given that it's a gift for someone, but seriously, if I'm not writing for somebody I'm basically not writing at all. I had such high hopes for NaNo and then I wrote, like, 1000 words total? It's really pathetic.

The due date for xf_santa is any time between December 24 and January 1, so I still have a decent amount of time, but I just wish I could start it.

Also -- was that you attempting to start an XF shift on the meme earlier? I was sad that it never went anywhere. :(
