aaaaall the way

DANCE BREAK:

By my own rules I am not supposed to be Christmas-y until the day after Thanksgiving, BUT THEN GAP OUTDID THEMSELVES WITH THEIR 2008 ADS AND I HAD TO. HAD TO. (ALTHOUGH, okay, I'm also feeling oddly chatty and just felt like posting? HI!!) It is so many things I love about the holiday season: cute sweaters, dorky dancing, sooooongs, and glee. Also if you, like me, listened to this and thought "WHY DO I NOT HAVE AN AWESOME HIP HOPPY VERSION OF JINGLE BELLS ANYWHERE IN MY ITUNES???" there is a just plain Trey & Flo version, AND I WILL FIGURE OUT HOW TO RIP IT, SOMEHOW.

Tomorrow I am going to buy myself candles. Lots and lots of delicious smelling candles. Also sheet music. Except knowing my penchant for procrastination, I will still be saying this a week from now :(

P.S. FUN UNRELATED FACT: The Christmas classic "Baby, It's Cold Outside" originates from a crappy Esther Williams swimming movie from the 50s (I think it was the 50s?) that has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE HOLIDAYS AT ALL.

The cut of them was different than Gap khakis usually are? I LOVE THEM (and I'm not really much of a pants person!), I wish they'd resurrect them so I could buy more :( And yeah, not just you. They mostly did a good job of avoiding singing parts for the actors, though?

It's uploading, I'll give you the link when it's done!

Where in Arizona do you go? I don't imagine the weather will be all that wintery.

Yeah, sometimes you can get really lucky with khakis at the Gap. Yeah, it seems that way. Except for Rainn, who rooooooocked it.

Oh, yay, thank you!

We go to Tucson. It's not really the weather more than the people. Like, there are people who go every spring break, so I've made friends and my parents have made friends, and even if we don't know people, we recognize them, so it's comforting. But there are also people who go every Christmas/New Year's, so it will just be a different crowd. But I'm going abroad next semester, and Arizona is a tradition, so we kinda rearranged our schedule.

Rainn was awesome, whoever decided on the gender reversal for that one deserves candy canes.

That sounds lovely! I haven't been to Tuscon since I was ridiculously small, but I really liked it then. And I forget: where are you studying abroad?

Candy canes! PEPPERMINT BARK!

It's really beautiful in the spring. Not too hot, not too chilly. I don't think I ever made it "official" on here, actually (or maybe I did?), but I'm going to Stockholm! I'm very excited.

I don't think you did announce that, I would've remembered Sweden. That should be incredible!
