~THE LADIES OF THE VIEW~ would like to bring you Senator John McCain's toughest interview yet:

If you want the abridged version, skip to 2:00, where he is asked to defend Palin's position on the ticket (at 3:00 he's asked to defend her stance on "change", AND IT IS GLORIOUS) and 6:20, where he is asked to defend his attack ads. If you want the extended version, part 2 is here.

YOU GUYS, I DON'T KNOW WHETHER TO LOL OR CRY, BECAUSE:
1) JOHN MCCAIN JUST GOT GRILLED (AND OWNED) BY BARBARA WALTERS (LOLOLOLOLOL)
2) The ladies of the View are the first ones to call him on his shit and ask him to explain it. AMERICAN JOURNALISM AT IT'S BEST, FOLKS.

"she sold the airplane, she fired the chef". LMAO LMAO AS IF THOSE ARE HUGE, ADMIRABLE THINGS.
I think it's hilarious -- and kind of sad? -- that every "great" thing they're pointing out about her pathetic political history is a flat-out, blatant lie. I mean, you have to expect exaggeration from any politician, but they're seriously contradicting the truth with this selling-the-airplane-on-eBay, stopping-the-bridge-to-nowhere, champion-against-porkbarrel spending shit. The woman has done nothing. The fact that she's even allowed to be in this position just... pisses me off.

I hate how he says "taken on" so much. As if he just needs to attack everything that moves.
Ha! So true.

Oh, bless the Daily show.

"actually they're not lies, " - oh my god I hate him so much. "and i've seen some of the ads that are against me".
You know, attack ads are par the course in a national election-- and in the beginning they were okay, but the McCain campaign has shot over this line with this Barack Obama wants to teach your kindergarteners about sex shit and this "lipstick on a pig" issue. You know? At least during the Olympics, when they were attacking Obama's lack of experience, that shit was true, if exaggerated. It's the lying that gets to me? STAY KLASSY, MCCAIN.
