WE NEED TO EXPOSE THESE FOOLS FOR THE LYING S.O.B.S THEY ARE. I'M SORRY BUT THIS STRETCH IN THE ELECTION IS MAKING ME FUCKING ANGRY AND I FEEL SO POWERLESS AGAINST IT. I was supposed to go canvassing tomorrow but it didn't work out, so I'm going to have to postpone. I'm trying to figure out if I should do VA or PA. I'm thinking VA. GOD I CAN'T EVEN THINK ABOUT THIS BECAUSE IT JUST MAKES ME SO MAD. It's so fucking insidious. They're basically conceding to the fact that 95% of their base (and thus a large portion of the population) are DUMB AS FUCK and will believe whatever they tell them without questioning it or bothering to find out the truth. AND PEOPLE ARE BUYING INTO IT. PEOPLE ARE TAKING HIM FOR HIS WORD, A WORD THAT IS FULL OF LIES. JUST LIKE BUSH WAS FULL OF LIES.

What a joke. I've lost my patience for this election and the people the Republicans are trying to reach. I've tried to be understanding of differences in demographics and forces beyond people's control, but when you choose to be a fucking drone and not use your mind and find the truth for yourself, I have no sympathy. Then it looks an awful lot like you're just voting for the white dude. OH AND BY THE WAY, the role they've put Palin in/she's accepted? IT'S DEMEANING TO WOMEN EVERYWHERE. If she were truly a champion of progress for women, she wouldn't be hiding behind her big strong man's campaign and she would be taking on the media and the public like she should. Instead she'd cowering and hiding and trying to be a fucking Trojan moose come the election and WE CAN'T LET IT HAPPEN.

We should!!! The only thing is that I'm not sure what my deal is or if I can even do PA over VA. Right now it seems like VA is more doable for me. If I were to go up there though, I think it would be Northeast Philadelphia? That's where my university's students for Obama group is suggesting. But southern PA is probably more doable for me-- we're pretty close to York, but I don't know what their needs are. BUT YEAH ANYWAY. If it seems like I'll be doing PA I'll let you know!

HERE IS THE THING THAT GETS ME-- they're going out of their way to avoid media that disagrees with them. Which is absolutely not okay. I cannot believe that the View -- THE VIEW -- was the first outlet that got to ask him these questions. And I think he picked it thinking it was going to be easy, he was going to ~reach out to the women's vote~, schmooze a little and be done with it. I think he chose this show in particular because he thought they wouldn't do exactly what they ended up doing (apparently the Republican host spoke at the RNC, sooooooo). And you know what? You don't get to do that when you're running for president. The voters deserve all the information about you and your positions that you could possibly give them. You don't get to pick and choose like this. You don't get to say no over and over again. It doesn't work that way.
