it's really too bad i can never think of interesting things to post!

I don't suppose anyone would like to help me brainstorm ideas for what to name my new (warranty replacement) iPod???? I SUCK AT THIS, I ended up haaaaaaating my last iPod name (Lefou, to go with Gaston the laptop) AND YOU GUYS... DON'T SUCK AT THIS?

P.S. I am kind of upset about the del.icio.us redesign, but not nearly as upset as I am about the fact that it is no longer del.icio.us, BUT INSTEAD delicious.com. I... WHAT. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT? I'M SO NOT OKAY WITH IT. Not on, del.icio.us people. NOT. ON.

Really? I've always considered it to be any fan of Star Trek. You can be a casual trekkie or a hardcore trekkie or whatever? Although I used to think ~trekker~ meant fans of new Trek (DS9 and Voyager) and ~trekkie~ meant fan of Old Trek (TNG and TOS). BECAUSE I WAS A HUGE NERD. Although LOLOLOL at anyone who thinks Star Trek in any form is the best thing ever.

I loved him because he was my frand on Reading Rainbow :(

She's catsuit girl. BUT YEAH, YOUR DECISION IS EASIER THAN MINE :(

....BUT MINE WAS TOM AND B'ELANNA. THERE IS NO SHOULD, THEY DID.

Hmm, I've always seen trekkies as the ones who go to cons and dress up and point out the little inaccuracies in everything. But I don't know! You've been more into the fandom than I have, so I just have a kind of biased view of everything I guess. Hahahaha but there ARE people who think it's the best thing ever! They're... scary.

I loved him on Reading Rainbow! I just don't love Geordi. :(

AH, I SEE. THIS MAKES SENSE.

BUT PICARD AND CRUSHER *SAID* THEY LOVED EACH OTHER. And they had a history! And they were cute! The show was super mean because they wanted the captain to be open to romances in the movies. I didn't care much about Troi/Riker, but they are the only ship that actually got together on the show. PICARD/CRUSHER WAS WAY BETTER. AND CUTER. IT WAS A HUGE INJUSTICE. :(

I went to a Trekkie convention once when I was twelve! It was... really boring.

:( :( :(. I can't really talk, I know like, NOTHING about the actual characters.

AWWWWW :( :( :( At least they had a better ending than Janeway and Chakotay???? (Actually, did they? I have no idea.)

Yeah... they seem pretty boring.

I don't know, how did Janeway and Chakotay end? Picard and Crusher... um. Well, they did a few cute things in the movies (SOME IN DELETED SCENES) but not much. In the show, it ends with Picard going to all the alternate timelines and in one he and Crusher married for 30 years then divorced, but then when they're in his room and he's telling her about it she kisses him and says things can change. And in the movies Crusher leaves to go be head of the medical people and doesn't even work with Picard anymore. They totally set up the ship and let it fall through. :( Except for in two books, which I guess aren't considered canon but are what I imagine they're doing now.

:( :( :( :( :(

But yeah, Janeway and Chakotay was worse. They were well set-up in seasons two and three especially, but then it sort of slacked off and occasionally they would have moments but there were also a lot of alien-lovers-of-the-week and... yes. Then midway through season 7, there was this INCREDIBLY wonderful shippy (time travel! have i mentioned i love time travel?) episode that ended in

...and then he goes and gets with Seven of Nine. Not just gets with her, he marries her in the future where they don't get back to Earth? It... like, it literally made ZERO sense. They needed someone to be with Seven of Nine, yes, but EVERY OTHER MALE MEMBER OF THE CAST had been shown to enjoy Seven of Nine's company more than Chakotay? It... was ridiculously stupid and sudden. And that is how the show ended.

...but honestly, I LOVED TOM AND B'ELANNA MORE, AND THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER, SO.
