I was kind of joking when I said that Michael Mosley's character was Tom Paris but as it turns out he is ACTUALLY TOM PARIS, transplanted into the 60s. He was already a pilot with a ~devil-may-care~ attitude who fights for his ~womanizer reputation~ via gross sleazy comments, but now it turns out he is also:
- a person with ~connections~ and a fancy family background
- involved in a moderately questionable (as in mechanical error vs pilot error) piloting accident in which the other people on the plane died but he did not
- discharged from the military!
- kind of a drunk
- daddy issues galore
SOMEONE ON THIS WRITING STAFF IS A SECRET FORMER VOYAGER STAN (best kind of person), there is no other explanation.
Deeply enjoying this show so far!! In a lot of ways it feels tailor-made for me, which is cozy. I don't think we'll know before midseason if it's going to be good or if it's going to be great, though, if that makes sense.
ETAing because I want to save this (Psych) gif forever, I just. Have feelings sometimes.
