I like friending memes! I sort of get why a lot of people don't, I mean, there's something very public about them, and sometimes you end up friending weirdos and you have to deal with them for a couple of months until the unspoken grace period ends. But. Friending is kind of an awkward process and I love how friending memes steamlines it, creates an appropriate environment for asking in a way friends only entries never quite manage. Also they are fun! And I have always met great people through them. Also I just like them. In any case, I don't know about your friends, but mine keep complaining to me about not having enough of this type of friend or that type of friend and... this is how we used to fix that kind of problem! And it's been a long time since I've seen one floating around my part of lj.

So I am not totally sure that the 72 people I have friended is enough to like... properly power a friending meme, especially since lj is quiet-ish lately. But prove me wrong! Go forth, fill things out, respond to things, and please tell your friends (because even though I have great friends who can see this I ALREADY HAVE THEM FRIENDED, what do I get out of this?). Um, no, I literally cannot sum up what they're about - it's just stuff that has been sitting around for long enough that I can talk coherently about it. Things you like & do not like in lj friends: tbh I just don't want people who post things I don't care about. And I know how that sounds but I just mean like, it's great that your friend's dad's grandma won a cat in a raffle but I have no idea who those people are so I just don't give a shit, that sort of thing. It's perfectly fine for us to have completely separate interests if you're fun and like talking, because that is what I like doing! We will get along great! EDIT: I completely forgot, Tumblr is my worst enemy so if your entries are all about ~shit going down~ over there, I... am probably not going to care.
Anything else you'd like to add? I still haven't checked the pxt I got the other day because Parks and Rec has made me afraid that it's a penis. Your response to the last two questions totally cracked me up. The other day, this guy who I like to playfully and innocently flirt with sent me a picture text. I opened it, expecting it to be a picture of his puppy doing something cute and then it was A NAKED PICTURE OF HIM. It was just upper body, THANK GOD, because I would have been SCARRED FOR LIFE if I had seen his nether regions.

I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW THIS LEGITIMATELY HAPPENS TO PEOPLE??? Why do dudes think that it's the way to get ladies, seriously, the only thing it does is provide a story to tell on a friending meme! And potential emotional scarring.
