BUT SERIOUSLY NOW I CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT PRE-GOLDEN TRIO CANON. i've read pretty much every single marauder era fic EVER, but i've never seriously thought about the black sisters for whatever reason?? they're always (in retrospect i am now realizing this!)... not mentioned, but it makes sense that andromeda would be older and sirius would go to her? I LOVE BLACK FAMILY POLITICS, IT IS THE GREATEST. idk idk but this is such a greaaat take on andromeda and ted, i guess i never thought about how it would be to be that other person burned off the family tree! and i totally forgot that ted was a muggleborn. NOW I'M TRYING TO ENVISION HOW THEY FIRST MEET. omg. tell me there is a fic out there or that you have your own take of canon?? flafjfjjaflaf
Oh man okay it was really similar for me!! Like I used to be SUPER INTO the marauders (and I still sort of am idk but when I was 14 I used to write my own [terrible] [but somehow kind of popular] [but terrible] fic about them, it was much more intense) but I never like, even thought about Andromeda for some reason? But then when I reread the books in 2009 I became like, COMPLETELY OBSESSED WITH HER!! That has actually happened a lot for me post-books, like when they were coming out I was aaaaaaaall about the obvious canon ships (Ron/Hermione and James/Lily, although lol I was into Draco/Ginny too YOU DON'T KNOW ME) and now I'll find myself randomly SUPER INTO Ted/Andromeda or George/Angelina?! Idek. Anyway that fic is pretty close to my personal interpretation of them because my friend wrote it after weeks of ~GOD IL TED/ANDROMEDA~ emails, but I have other fic saved (http://www.delicious.com/lightlocked/%2Bted%2Fandromeda)! Some of it is pretty long though. If you don't read anything else read the very last one I looooooooooove it it was my first? BUT LOL I'M SERIOUSLY PRETTY SURE I HAVE READ EVERY TED/ANDROMEDA FIC ON THE INTERNET, I even started reading this French one on ff.net but it was pretty boring and the Andromeda characterization is weird. Lol me. But ahhhhh I love comparing Sirius and Andromeda because I LOVE THEM BOTH SO MUCH but they're so different (in my head, I guess?). Like Sirius is SUCH A GRYFFINDOR, born to rebel from his family, but I don't think Andromeda ever would have guessed that would be her ending, in my head she is very much still a Slytherin. But that fic is pretty close to my own personal canon take because my friend Catherine wrote it after weeks of v. intense discussion about Ted/Andromeda. ALTHOUGH LATELY I'M REALLY OBSESSED WITH THE IDEA OF LIKE, throwing all these fics where he pokes at her shell and wears her down out the window, and having it be her that seeks him: I was thinking because his parents get killed or something and she divines that it was Bellatrix?!?! IDK!
OMG YOU WROTE MARAUDER FIC alex that is the greatest thing i've ever heard. DRACO/GINNY IT'S OKAY um i'm pretty sure the first ship i was ever SUPER INTO was draco/hermione sooooo. BUT AHHHHH omg george/angelina i read so many post-canon fics about them dealing with fred alfjalfkaffjlajlff; it was the worst and yet the best and i wasn't sure what to do with myself after, i haven't thought about them in so long. but ANDROMEDA/TED AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. i'm just going to... go through your fic on another night (omg i love how you have the summaries in your bookmarks; i am sadly too lazy for that) but they are just SO INTERESTING. and okay i love your friend catherine. and i love that fic. and i now am just envisioning interactions between sirius and andromeda and there was that one uncle or something that gave sirius money after he was kicked out?! I AM IMAGINING A REALLY BIZARRE FAMILY REUNION OF OUT OF PLACE BLACKS. and what you say about sirius versus andromeda is so true, really, and i think that fic really captures all of that (lol i love how you guys discussed them so intensely!!) and alfkjalfjaf I CAN'T EVEN IMAGINE THE ISSUES in the universe where bellatrix kills his parents! the angst. the annnnnngst. okay this sounds positively delicious. I LIKE. but i reeeeally love the very... cool persona of andromeda in that fic. omg. i am also now trying to imagine what happens after they get together? AHHHHH I JUST. THIS IS NOT THE RIGHT TIME FOR ME TO BE THINKING ABOUT THIS but oh gosh they are just so interesting!!! and i want to know about the household as tonks grew up!!

AW IKR i wish i could take credit for its cuteness but alas. but omg i knooow except draco/ginny--okay i read this one fic that just scarred me FOREVER from them because it resulted in ron being buried alive underground. it was the worst. i'm not even sure why i decided to read it??? BUT UM ANYWAY. DISEASE. VERY SIMILAR, YES. and i wish i could say that i had saved them but i read them in the crying rush of emotions after DH came out and this was before i faithfully maintained my delicious bookmarks so i just read them, cried, and then left them behind :(

LOL OMG THAT WOULD DO IT!!! I really hate how much of HP fic does shit like that to Ron ugh, he is like constantly portrayed as stupid/villainous/whatever. So frustrating! Stuff like that can totally change your opinions, honestly the entire reason I got into Draco/Ginny is because I read this SUPER HILARIOUS fic where Malfoy decided the only advantage Harry had over him was friendship and decided to make friends and chose Ginny and he was just so faily and ugh it just totally appealed to my preteen heart but it has sicne been removed from the internet :'(
I mean I think James was his ~main~ family the way Ted was Andromeda's but... still. But ugh I WOULD READ THAT FIC SO HARD. AND PLEASE DO I... LIKE TALKING ABOUT THEM!!! Kind of a lot.
