EVAN LYSACEK LOOK AT YOUUUUUU YOU MASTER!!!! Ugh that was beautiful, I am so proud. I don't know it never feels right in skating when people win back-to-back golds somehow-- idk it's so hard to even BE there, I kind of just want the medals to be spread around. Espeeeeecially the golds. And idk everyone always says it but Plushenko's artistry is not quite there-- I always feel so AWKWARD watching the way he thrusts through his footwork. AND GOD HIS FORM ON SOME OF THOSE BACK SIT SPINS, REALLY EVGENI??? REALLY???

Ummmm! I am not a huge Weir fan, but he was underscored, that was beautifully skated. I KIND OF WANTED MY BB STEPHANE LAMBIEL (a.k.a. ~Princess~) TO GET BRONZE, but actually I'm happier with Takahashi weirdly-- it is like I said above, I LIKE THEM SPREAD AROUND, and it's nice that Takahashi gets that Olympic bronze.

God WHAT WAS UP with NBC waiting so late to play this? And the random selection of "other" programs to show? Like Denis Ten is adorable but where was Brian Joubert? IT IS ALREADY ENOUGH OF AN ANNOYANCE THAT NBC STAGGERS IT BY TIME ZONE, there by opening up the door for spoilers. Preeeeetty sure none of the other countries make so many Olympic airing decisions based on how much money you can make off this. You douches.

I AGREE. God, the Olympics make me so patriotic.

AND YEAH, F you, NBC, it's 12:30. It's way past my bedtime.

I was more happy Plushenko did not get the gold he was being so cocky about, but I'm still really happy for Evan! And seriously, wtf re: waiting so late. I realize that Evan and the rest of the later skaters were live, but you could have shoehorned a few more of the earlier performances in there.

Plushenko looked like he was going to two-foot a couple of those jumps, but he held on. And his angle was all funky in the air. AND OH YEAH, IT WAS BORING. And also awkward with the weird dancing. No, no, no. He's also said he basically doesn't care about transitions, so, yeah. Glad he lost. Really glad.

I thought the end of the skating was live, wasn't it? That's why it was so late? IDK, I don't blame NBC for trying to loose less money, lol.
