I'm too scared to dye my hair myself, but it's so expensive to get it done at a salon! But I guess I'd rather pay more to get it done right the first time, then pay less and risk doing it wrong and then having to pay to get it fixed? IDK. Yaaaay, brunettes! Liz Lemon is a brunette. The first time I did it my (extremely experienced) best friend and (moderately experienced) had to do it for me, and I still almost wussed out. I don't know, there's also a part of me that wants to do blonde (I... guess I like experimentation?) but I would never do that on my own, bleach is scary. But god yes it is expensive. Blarf.
Sometimes, I think I could really pull off going two or three shades darker, and other times, I think I really want to go two or three shades lighter. I always go back and forth before telling myself that, in the end, I should just stick with what I have. I got free-ish highlights during senior year of high school, and I really liked them. My hair looked lighter and just better.
