Right, if you're say, a TV critic in it for the Mad Mens, Bones has gone from low-mediocre to absolute terribleness-- downgrade! But if you're in it for the ~quality~, I guess what I don't understand is why you were even watching Bones in the first place. Fanfictioning it up was actually a really smart move on the part of the powers that be, because by making it more ridiculous, they actually gave it some degree of uniqueness in a field that is absolutely overflowing with moderately watchable procedurals.
