Hahaha um, I am maybe not the person to ask, I am a French major so if I did not enjoy these things I would be nowhere, but I also think it depends a lot on the French department at your University-- mine is like a little pocket of magnificence and good professors and teeny classes at my mostly sciency school (which is okay since I am premed, but seriously a good 75% of the other liberal arts class I have taken here has made me want to die a little on the inside). But if you can find a good class it can be magnificent!
