There's this really sudden switch in Seth's humor between seasons 1 and 2, where he goes from self-deprecating to self-centered and it's just not quite as funny. I don't know, in season 2 all I wanted was for him to grow up enough to deserve Summer again, and instead he never did and got her back anyway. And a lot of his storylines in season 3 (at least the ones I remember?) were douche central. I don't know it's like, I still love him because he is Seth and his awkwardness could charm the pants off a robot but it's different after season 1 -- he was my absolute favorite in the beginning, and now he's just my favorite after all my other favorites. I do think Seth being less awesome is where the Ryan/Summer comes in though, uck.

His band name is Lincoln Hawk, which is the Sylvester Stallone character in "Over the Top", the movie the Cohens always watch at Chrismukkah.
