Nano writing is different from normal writing though -- I mean you do need a plot, but you're so focused on the word count that quality starts going out the window (you can always edit in December) and it's... I don't know. In that way it's easier than a short story. It's a really great exercise

Oh god, that whole thing turned out to be a FARCE. Apparently she just fainted (because of a combination of low blood pressure and dehydration), but when my mother tried to pick her up she started shaking (which happens when you move fainted people quickly!) and they thought it was a seizure and totally freaked me/everyone out. And wasted a trip to the emergency room. But it turned out fine. And yeah we totally should! Maybe this weekend?
