Uhh, I think I'm a grandma even on the internet. I've still only got the originals, and that's all I really want, dammit!
The thing is, I just don't see the point of having 79 different ways of talking with the same people. I tried having a MySpace and a Facebook at the same time, around when I first got my Facebook, and it was just like, I don't need both of these to say the same things to the same people! And like you said, I like the idea of LiveJournal better because you can have substantial conversations, you can read fic, you can actually express yourself without worrying about wordcount.
