TWITTER JUST MAKES ME SO MAD, ALEX. Like, there is absolutely no reason for it at all. I understand people not wanting to make whole entries for things that can be summarised in a line. BUT BUT BUT. I guess it's a) I love lj and I hate change (you know I'm a grandma when it comes to these things), b) I like long, contemplative, wordy entries! and c) everyone is doing it, which makes me hate it immediately.
Re: tumblr, I think that's a pretty cool website, and I kiiiiind of lied when I said I didn't have one, because I do in theory. But it has never been used, because I'm (again) lazy when it comes to change & I never really got into it. But I don't hold such a grudge against tumblr. BUT I WILL CHANGE MY MIND IF IT'S TRUE THAT PEOPLE ARE NOT USING LJ AS MUCH BECAUSE OF THESE TWO SITES. I guess I haven't really noticed? I probably will now though :(
