Interesting. I do not have a twitter or a tumblr. I am a wordy person who likes to fangirl so LJ is perfect for me, whereas twitter and tumblr don't really do it for me. I always think of twitter as me being like "omg, these new shoes I got are amazing" or something and its like, who cares? Plus I feel like that's something more for people I know in RL (like facebook), and LJ is not seen by anyone I know in RL.
Basically, I kinda hate twitter and love LJ because I have lots of thoughts and enjoy actually talking to people. Like this.
