a) THAT IS KIND OF FUNNY. I don't know I just... like them best! Although Helo didn't creep up on me until just now (I had a freeish evening and I'm almost done with 1x07 -- I spent the whole episode going "HOLY CRAP GAIUS JUST TELL THEM" because "I can't keep it in my pants and that may have contributed to the destruction of humanity :(" is at least better than "I blew up the defense of a planet because I felt like it :D!" BUT HOLY CRAP SIX LEFT HIS HEAD TO PUNISH HIM FOR HIS BLASPHEMY? I... WHOA). But yeah I don't know I kind of like Gaius now anyway. Like he's stupid and ridiculous but in a hilarious way.
b) RIGHT. Okay. That makes sense. But yeah, I think Lyla's character arc is (in season 1, at least, I think they've kind of disappointingly dropped the ball on her) one of the most satisfying but I don't think that necessarily makes her the most LIKEABLE. Although it's FNL and... all of them have really satisfying character arcs, SO WHAT IS "BEST"?
