I TOTALLY AGREE RE: TIM/LYLA. I feel like the writers see (or have come to see) it in a totally different way than I do? Their affair in the first season was interesting in a fucked up way but I just can't understand the continued draw of them. They don't feel like a real love story to me. And it sucks, because they're both fantastic characters outside of each other. There should be more for them than Tim/Lyla.
But, yeah, despite the age mess it has been a pretty damn good season, you should catch up when you can!
