but at least i'm sure he knows what the bush doctrine is.
If you want the abridged version, skip to 2:00, where he is asked to defend Palin's position on the ticket (at 3:00 he's asked to defend her stance on "change", AND IT IS GLORIOUS) and 6:20, where he is asked to defend his attack ads. If you want the extended version, part 2 is here.
YOU GUYS, I DON'T KNOW WHETHER TO LOL OR CRY, BECAUSE:
1) JOHN MCCAIN JUST GOT GRILLED (AND OWNED) BY BARBARA WALTERS (LOLOLOLOLOL)
2) The ladies of the View are the first ones to call him on his shit and ask him to explain it. AMERICAN JOURNALISM AT IT'S BEST, FOLKS.

HERE IS THE THING THAT GETS ME-- they're going out of their way to avoid media that disagrees with them. Which is absolutely not okay. I cannot believe that the View -- THE VIEW -- was the first outlet that got to ask him these questions. And I think he picked it thinking it was going to be easy, he was going to ~reach out to the women's vote~, schmooze a little and be done with it. I think he chose this show in particular because he thought they wouldn't do exactly what they ended up doing (apparently the Republican host spoke at the RNC, sooooooo). And you know what? You don't get to do that when you're running for president. The voters deserve all the information about you and your positions that you could possibly give them. You don't get to pick and choose like this. You don't get to say no over and over again. It doesn't work that way.
