AGREED. And I'll totally read that list, even if it'll make me really depressed, hahaha.

I don't think the discontent will go away for a little while. I think you should definitely read [livejournal.com profile] thelittlespy's review though because she does a really amazing and perfect job of articulating why she feels this film is great on the sheer basis of the Mulder and Scully relationship, and for me, that's really what I needed to fully appreciate what I did actually love about the film. It didn't make me forgive the shortcomings that I think are valid and almost unjustifiable (in some cases) but it helps me channel my energy more on liking what I liked rather than being discontent with what I didn't like. And it's also really helped pull my thoughts together in preparation for the 3284932894302th post I've had in the last week? I NEED A LIFE. BADLY.
