I feel like the only people they're currently appealing to is fandom -- with Paley, Wondercon, NY Comic Con, etc -- which is great, but even the hardcorest of hardcore fans can't keep a movie afloat at the box office. There's a fanbase who doesn't care enough to look up spoilers on the internet, and what, exactly, has been done to reach out to them?
The fact that Iron Man was apparently so great (I haven't seen it yet) is kind of like salt in the wound? I mean, damn, that was our spot.
