.rar files are extractable with WinRAR (http://www.rarlab.com/) (which is free & spyware free), which is a lovely tool to have but I totally understand if you don't want to bother downloading it for this alone. Um, would .zip files work for you? I can totally do individual song files, but .zip files might be easier.
