I like friending memes! I sort of get why a lot of people don't, I mean, there's something very public about them, and sometimes you end up friending weirdos and you have to deal with them for a couple of months until the unspoken grace period ends. But. Friending is kind of an awkward process and I love how friending memes steamlines it, creates an appropriate environment for asking in a way friends only entries never quite manage. Also they are fun! And I have always met great people through them. Also I just like them. In any case, I don't know about your friends, but mine keep complaining to me about not having enough of this type of friend or that type of friend and... this is how we used to fix that kind of problem! And it's been a long time since I've seen one floating around my part of lj.

So I am not totally sure that the 72 people I have friended is enough to like... properly power a friending meme, especially since lj is quiet-ish lately. But prove me wrong! Go forth, fill things out, respond to things, and please tell your friends (because even though I have great friends who can see this I ALREADY HAVE THEM FRIENDED, what do I get out of this?). I don't have a pre-prepared code for advertising but... you can see the entry link, and you all know better how you want to advertise that I know anyway.

Things you like & do not like in lj friends: If you watch some of the same shows as me and you post episode reactions regularly, then you are EXACTLY WHAT I WANT. [I should mention, though, that my Five-0 thoughts range from "THAT WAS AMAZING" to "that was not sufficiently amazing the end," I don't have it in me to be pissed off or outraged by it.] I DO NOT CARE what you had for breakfast unless it was pancakes. It drives me bonkers when people routinely post more than once a day, mainly because the posts don't tend to be substantial. I don't want to hear about how much you hate some show even though you still watch it and post about it every week - I'm much more interested in hearing your thoughts about things you really like, even if they're not fandoms I'm in. If I wanted to read constant criticism or irritated fandom meta, I'd still use Tumblr.
Anything else you'd like to add? OKAY I JUST NEED TO GET THIS OFF MY CHEST: My aunt and uncle were just visiting and they TOOK MY TOOTHPASTE WITH THEM WHEN THEY LEFT, and, like that's not bad enough, I went to the store to pick up a new tube and the packaging had been redesigned so I couldn't even IDENTIFY mine and without an old package to compare flavors and features or whatever, I just had to guess, AND I GUESSED WRONG AND THE NEW KIND TASTES AWFUL AND EVERYTHING IS RUINED FOREVER!!!!!!

This is possibly a creepy start to this comment, but I've actually sort of been following your entries ever since I was linked to your limeybean'd post a few weeks ago and realized you were reviewing all the fall pilots (and your comment re: the Hawaii Five-0 s2 premiere in one of those posts led me to download the first few episodes of the show, to be watched after I am all caught up on The Good Wife and Breaking Bad), and I did the same thing a few months ago when you first re-opened fandom_tar.
