i actually have to go RIGHT NOW but i expect to see FROLICKING IN THE COMMENTS when i get back >:(

I like friending memes! I sort of get why a lot of people don't, I mean, there's something very public about them, and sometimes you end up friending weirdos and you have to deal with them for a couple of months until the unspoken grace period ends. But. Friending is kind of an awkward process and I love how friending memes steamlines it, creates an appropriate environment for asking in a way friends only entries never quite manage. Also they are fun! And I have always met great people through them. Also I just like them. In any case, I don't know about your friends, but mine keep complaining to me about not having enough of this type of friend or that type of friend and... this is how we used to fix that kind of problem! And it's been a long time since I've seen one floating around my part of lj.

So I am not totally sure that the 72 people I have friended is enough to like... properly power a friending meme, especially since lj is quiet-ish lately. But prove me wrong! Go forth, fill things out, respond to things, and please tell your friends (because even though I have great friends who can see this I ALREADY HAVE THEM FRIENDED, what do I get out of this?). I don't have a pre-prepared code for advertising but... you can see the entry link, and you all know better how you want to advertise that I know anyway.

........I AM SUCH A BUM, sorry, please still do my meme! Even though I didn't make graphics. Or think of a title. OR DO ANYTHING BESIDES THINK OF QUESTIONS.

OH MAN I'M SO GLAD OTHER PEOPLE WERE SORTED INTO SLYTHERIN. I feel weird about it but also like I secretly knew it all along, which is making me feel even WEIRDER about it, Idk Idk. SORRY, RAVENCLAW, BUT YOUR RIDDLES WOULD PROBABLY MEAN I'D SLEEP IN THE HALLWAY MORE OFTEN THAN NOT.

I AM EXACTLY THE SAME!! I mean I always kind of thought of myself as a Ravenclaw with underlying Slytherin traits but IT WAS STILL A SHOCK. But it also wasn't?! One second Pottermore was undermining the self-sorting I had staunchly believed for YEARS OF MY LIFE and the next I was like "why are the Gryffindors beating us in house points? THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE". So. Yeah. It's definitely nice not to have to worry about the riddle issue in any future Hogwarts daydreams. Unnecessary stress, Ravenclaw!

Exactly! I mean, I didn’t sign up for Pottermore yet, but I felt pretty Slytherinish. And then I wondered who self-sorts themselves into Slytherin? Lol.
In Ravenclaw, I would definitely be lurking in the hallway until someone came along to let me in every night. Like how in high school, all of my friends had to open my locker for me because my lock was definitely out to get me :)

who self-sorts themselves into Slytherin?

Haha SERIOUSLY. I mean, the Pottermore screen turned green and I was like whaaaaaaa-that's fair. I mean, I'm competitive to a fault and kind of a jerk a lot of the time and frighteningly susceptible to Stockholm syndrome/group mentality/peer pressure so I GUESS IT MAKES SENSE. Well played, sorting hat. Well played.

YOU ARE ALL MAKING ME EXTREMELY PARANOID FOR WHEN I ACTUALLY GET MY POTTERMORE EMAIL.

[identity profile] disco-vendetta.livejournal.com 2011-10-12 03:06 am (UTC)(link)
WHICH WILL BE NEVER, BTW. BECAUSE POTTERMORE HATES ME AND WANTS ME TO BE A SQUIB FOR THE REST OF MY NATURAL LIFE.

SORRY, YOU ARE A MUGGLE AND THIS WILL BE OUR LAST CONVERSATION. IT WAS NICE KNOWING YOU! :(
