Oh my god, I decided that Jon Snow was my favorite before I even read a single page of the book, because I saw the first episode of the show before anything and the only characters I was really intrigued by were him and Tyrion; and I also just loved the idea of him, like his whole passionate, tortured misfit archetype. And then when I started reading the book, HE WAS EVEN MORE WONDERFUL THAN I IMAGINED, AND I TOTALLY FLIPPED OUT. But then I watched some later scenes of his from the show and I was like, OH MY GOD WHY ARE YOU SO SOLEMN? AND WHY ARE YOU LIKE 25 YEARS OLD?
