I'm a big shipper and I'm very loyal to my ships, but I'm also very respectful that my ships are not other people's and I expect the same from my f-list. So I guess really I look for respect/maturity more than anything. There's no wrong way to fandom (sans creepy stalking people in rl at which point we might need to have a chat, lol). Anything else you'd like to add? I don't post just a lot, a lot. I'm *trying* to get better. I used to be quite good at it, lol. I do however read my f-list almost daily and I'd say I'm a pretty fair commenter.
