I love this post so much, and I love Never Again, and holy CRAP I love Mulder and Scully and The X-Files, and I stopped watching it consistently once I left high school and after the second movie I haven't felt connected to them like I used to, even though I try, which makes me really sad, and then watching the show feels always somehow sad and that knowledge of our disconnection tugs at me, and I think a large part of what I miss is talking to other people like they still mean something to them, too. So thank you for this!
Dang this show was so much better than all the other shows. I miss them. I wish I could watch them again for the first time! Literally the only thing I miss about high school was that Mulder and Scully were the whole world to me. Good times.
