And Will would be a little more rogue, a little more Bond (I guess, I've seen like one Bond movie), but she can be his touchstone!! Man, too bad this fandom is not crazy enough for stuff like that, spy AU would be so much fun.
Because it is! Like, don't get me wrong, I have enjoyed many a deliberately-kept-apart ust kind of ship but they almost always hit this point where it just doesn't make sense that they are not together anymore. I love that the people who write the Good Wife always make the decision that makes sense. The way things unfold in every plotline always feels like the way they should unfold. Not a misstep. I TRUST THEM.
