OH MY FUCKING GOD SERIOUSLY THAT LINE IN HBP. SERIOUSLY. SERIOUSLY. I LIKE, COULDN'T EVEN, I WAS SO PISSED, AND THEN HE WAS JUST ALL THE WAY HANGING IN THE BACKGROUND FOR THAT SHOT, AND IT WAS JUST LIKE A LOL-HEY-HARRY-AND-HERMIONE-ARE-BETTER-THAN-YOU KIND OF MOMENT, and glaksjd;gasdg SERIOUSLY I JUST HAVE 923409230492309420349 FEELINGS ABOUT THE MISTREATMENT OF RON IN ALL THE PREVIOUS MOVIES. But oh, THIS ONE. IT WAS JUST SO GOOD, and though I do have a really minor complaint that his existence now seemed more Hermione based more than anything else, WHATEVER. I'M OKAY WITH THAT, BECAUSE THERE WAS THAT BEGINNING PART (though kind of... strange, I guess--I mean, it was kind of decided that they'd do it all together, but I guess they needed a place to say, "No one else is going to die for me," and there was Ron being Ron and saying that it was bigger than him, which is kind of eh/eh but whatever) AND WELL THE WHOLE LEAVING SCENE WAS PHENOMENAL and so I forgive them for everything else in this movie Ron-related.
BUT GLAKSDHGA THE TRIO. I guess it's related to the like, inner Ron hate of the people behind the films, but the trio has never before been so trio-y before, and I JUST LOVE IT. THEIR HUG AFTER RON AND HERMIONE HAD THEIR MOMENT WHEN RON COMES BACK SAFELY WITH TONKS, UGH I WAS ALREADY A MESS
