YOU ARE TOO GOOD TO ME. OKAY, WHEN I NEED TO GET MY FEELINGS OUT (which is sadly getting to be... often, idk why), I WILL COME OVER HERE.
IT IS A WONDERFUL SHOW, and omg so totally, totally found family-ish it is RIDICULOUS. I mean, the premise is that a band of "bad guys" work together to help out the people without means and do good, which in itself is only interesting to a few people, idk I guess the whole Robin Hood thing isn't really that awesome, but then it's also super... A-Team? (I think that's the reference I hear the most) meets the Ocean's Eleven, etc. kind of thing, but... IDK. I guess the plot would kind of bore some people sometimes if elaborate cons and perfect timing aren't their things, but I think it is just really good television. It isn't too serious, but it isn't too funny (it kind of falls straight in the middle the way Chuck does), and the best thing is that it just doesn't take itself too seriously. So yeah, some things are like HOW EVEN DOES THIS HAPPEN, but the characters are SUPER interesting and real, and ugh it is just the RELATIONSHIPS between all of them that just slay me most. (I mean, I really like the Robin Hood thing, so idk AGAIN I HAVE NO STANDARDS) but I loooooooooove this show lots for the relationships between the characters. It is one of the few where EVERY relationship is actually developed, and not just like, 2-3. AND THE TEAM BASICALLY BECOMES LIKE, THE GREATEST OT5 IN EXISTENCE. LIKE, SERIOUSLY. AN OT5. You can ship anything/everything on this show, but it's that FOUND FAMILY thing that everyone agrees on and looooves. I mean, IT'S NOT PERFECT (the last thing I want to do is make it seem 239409234094 times greater than it actually is and then have you be ridiculously disappointed)--I JUST HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS ABOUT THIS SHOW idk. But seriously, the show has some of the biggest tropes ever and some of my favorite tropes (UM, EMOTIONALLY STUNTED GIRL, BOY RLY IN LOVE WITH HER, people who have ~history~ and have MAJOR UST, etc. etc.) BUT THE WAY THEY DO IT, IT IS NOT LIKE... omg stop ugh, it is just fresh and new and kind of amazing. BUT IDK I AM BIASED AGAIN I JUST HAVE LOTS OF FEELINGS ABOUT THIS SHOW AND I AM CONVINCED IT CAN DO NO WRONG, SO. (OH YES and I just remembered THIS POST (http://lovebit.livejournal.com/355592.html)--aka a much better written, WITH PICTURES, argument for why one ought to watch this show, so hopefully it has you convinced to try it out).
Omg I never even thought about the possibility of creeping through peoples' deliciouses................. I usually regard myself as a major creep and am now very disappointed in myself (what is my life) but I am just TOO ASHAMED of my terrible taste in everything to unlock those particular things. I JUST CAN'T.
