Oh my GOD, THIS GIRL IS RADIANT*:

(I really really really need someone to talk me out of catching up on Gossip Girl again. I KNOW IT'S GOING TO BE SO BAD, and on top of that there's going to be a whole crapload of ~Blair and Chuck are mfeo~ stuff and I am going to HATE IT ALL, AND YES, MY TIME IS MUCH BETTER SPENT ON OTHER THINGS. But. But.)

*TODAY WE ARE DEFINING "RADIANT" as "totally dorky" + "totally beautiful" + "radiating joy".

Haha welllllll, Blair and Chuck are the only two reasons I watch Gossip Girl. So I think we're on two totally different boats when it comes to this show. I have zero expectations for it so I really didn't think season two was as bad as most others did. If Blair is busy plotting against people and Chuck is being creepy and awesome then I am set.

However, I legit HATED Serena in season one (like I said, two different boats!) but now I could not possibly love her more thanks to season two. So...you might enjoy some of it? I DON'T KNOW. This show is trashy teen drama to me and that's why I watch it. I don't need (or expect) it to be great television.

It might not be so bad if you can marathon all the episodes right in a row. There were some real duds in the middle of the season. Coupled with the random hiatuses throughout the year it made it all seem to drag on and on. I thought the last few were pretty great though. (But I truly do watch GG for totally different reasons than you!)

LOL I ALSO MEANT TO SAY THAT SHE IS BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING AND LOTS OF OTHER WONDERFUL ADJECTIVES.

I don't even know how many I would have left-- it can't be that many? I skipped a couple but the last one I saw was the one after the one about Rufus and Lily's Thanksgiving love child. They were going into like, a Dan-fucking-a-teacher plot, which is SO VERY DO NOT WANT, and I just... cared less, so I stopped.

IDK THOUGH, we really are watching from two different perspectives (Blair and Chuck were never my favorites but they were fine with me until the season 1 finale, BUT STILL, MOSTLY I LIKE THEM BOTH BEST WITH THEY ARE WITH SERENA? LOL BIASED. but ohmygod, whoever came up with the Vanderbasses is MY HERO), but if you have come around on Serena, I bet she'll be like, ELECTRIC to me. Hmm. Maybe. I don't know, it's weird, sometimes I really miss it and sometimes I don't.

Oh I'd say you have like 8 left at the most! Shouldn't be too bad. I'm with you on the whole Vanderbasses thing too. There is some really good stuff towards the end of the season with Chuck and Serena bonding for Blair's sake that I thought was amaaaaazing. Their relationship is so cool now. It's like, she is still totally creeped out by him but she sees that he can be a good person (especially when it comes to Blair) and she respects him because her best friend is in love with him. And also because Lily has made an effort to make him feel like a part of their family even though his father is dead.

Buuuuut I will warn you, if you do watch, Serena had some of the dumber storylines of the season. She was borderline nuts in the finale with this whole revenge plot she had going against gossip girl. It was pretty hilarious. HER HAIR ALWAYS LOOKS AMAZING THOUGH. SO THERE'S THAT.
